Hey Friends! I have to take a little break from the blog! I am going to Manners Classes and that is taking up all my energy. I will be back soon because my peeps and my Manner's Person are helping me learn to be a good boy.

I'm Insecure!!!!

Hey Folks. "My name is Merlin and I'm insecure." group response... "Hi Merlin"

Lately I have been a little bit of a bully to some dogs. I am seeing someone to help me deal with it. That is the sort of bad news. The good news is that it is my "Camp Grinning Dog "Person. Can you believe how lucky I am. I love that person she is now my person to help me figure out how to not get so nervous and pushy. I wonder what I should refer to her as in the blog. My Manners Person? Well, I will use that for now and lets see if I come up with something else later.

Anyway, we were at the park at 7 barks this morning. I thought we would not we anyone but we did. I ran into Pixie from Dixie. She still has that bell around her neck so I heard her coming long before I saw her coming. We had a little run and play time and I was a "good boy". I am not sure what my Manner's Person told my person but I got a lot more treats than usual and all I had to do was catch them. Hey, this could be really, really good for me.

Mimi was barking whenever we saw another dog and I got to playing. Once my person goes and pets her she is silent. She may have my person trained even better than I do.

I could not believe my eyes as we headed to the end of the big fields on top. It was my girl Pearl. We got to run and play and Mimi barked and played too. Mimi is still limping but I think she is getting stronger all the time.

You know I may put on a show at the park of being big and tough but do you know what I am going to go do now. I am going to be Our Girl's pillow while she lays on the couch and reads. That is one of my favorite jobs. Being Our Girl's pillow is one thing I do really well with no problems at all.

What is up?

OK, my Person, Bonus Person and Our Girl came home last night and guess what? They smell of Daisy! My friend Daisy that I do not see nearly as much anymore, and they went to her house! To add insult to serious injury, there were other peeps that have been saved by their dogs there too. I betcha that Daisy is just proud and boastful as she could be this morning having all those peeps to herself!

Now guess what again? My Person has a bad cold and is sick in bed. My Bonus Person went to work and Our girl can not drive the car!

That is very bad news for Merlin I tell you! It is not good news for Mimi either but she does not care as much as I do.

I wasn't going to tell you all this because my peeps embarrass me a little. I think my person was trying to get inside dog information from Daisy last night.
