Sunday 3/16

Well, yesterday was a stay home and get brushed day. I am not a fan of being brushed but my tail looks great! So anyway Mimi is limping so she could not go on the walk today. I told her to stop but she says her right rear paw is really sore. She was sore when we went without her!

We saw Pippin and Lilo when we first got to the park. I love playing with Pippin but Lilo gets mad. That is exactly what Mimi does too when I play with others. We did not walk with them because they were waiting for the rest of the Sunday Poodle people to show up. They all get together and walk together on Sunday mornings. So, we walked alone for a long time. The park is half MUD and half crunchy snow. I did run through a few puddles but my person started that "Merlin, Merlin, Merlin, No no, no!" thing again. I figure the puddles will be here for a long time. There were no other dogs around to see me get away with it so I did not bother to lay down and roll! This is an important lesson for you young dogs. Why get your people upset when no body is around to see it. Choose wisely. Anyway, we ended up seeing Abby the Mastiff. She plays with me a lot more now that she is bigger. So, there we were 2 REALLY BIG dogs running in the muddy field and having a blast. I actually missed Mimi barking at me and being jealous. We also saw a Little Sheba named Taka. She lives in our neighborhood. I met a new dog named Tiffany who is a Corgi/Shelti mix. I liked her because we have the same colors and she did not mind how big I am. We saw that guy who smokes a pipe on the way out. My person really likes him. She says the pipe reminds her of her Dad. She gets a happy look in her eye when she says that. That guy belongs to 2 dogs. One is named Elliot but I do not know the other one. I really want to see them sooner in the walk because that one dog teases me and I want to chase her bad!!! Maybe my person will walk with the pipe smokin' guy some day. They always talk a little. They are still crying over something called the Patriots? Get over it and lets get to the river I say!!!! Hope tomorrow is a beautiful day and that Mimi feels better. I missed my sister today!
