Another great day. I have to say though that as much as I love my people I will never understand them. I am going to tell some people secrets here and I know my person will be a little mad but I must. I will get to all that.
So, it was bright and sunny but very windy today. Down by the river where there is a lot of open space it was really blowing. Now, my person really is pretty good at braving the weather to get us out doors but I am still wondering why they do not grow their hair out. I think my person could have a really nice coat. She does not do it however. In fact she cuts it all the time. I know Mimi gets really mad when they bring her for a hair cut. She is so embarrassed at the park afterward. I do walk a little in front of her sometimes so people forget we are together. OK so that is one confusing thing. I have always wondered why they do not walk on 4 feet. I think the advantages are obvious. I will say that I do think thumbs would improve my life though. I could open doors, refrigerators, etc. I have to say one more thing about the wind. My tail looks FABULOUS in the wind. Plus, my ears sort of sail up a little. I mean I got it goin' on in the wind.
The list goes on and on. We ran into a little Terrier named Marley that I had never met before. My person and her person started talking about little dogs being really fun. I wonder if I am going to get another brother or sister?
OK so my person had to pee while we were there. This is the other confusing thing. She goes way in the woods and looks around, hurries up and seems to hate the process. OK! I do not get that. I must pee 50times while we are at the park. How is anybody supposed to know you were there if you do not pee? I wish she felt free enough to just pee out in the open. I think the other dogs would appreciate it too. Maybe we could get a whiff of what we do not understand about out people.
The pictures are of the river where we swim when we can, our buddy Bandit and the view from one of my person's favorite spots at the park. I love being a dog!
