doggie goodness!!

I was so worried this morning because I felt a few rain drops. Now, I have been a little critical of my person from time to time lately but today I feel nothing but love and happiness toward her. The rain did not stop her from not only taking us to the park we even did the whole big loop. She loves me, she really loves me.
So, we saw Tango the Aussie and Maggie the Weimaraner. I have not seen Maggie in a really long time but they were leaving. Hope to see you again soon Maggie. So, down Chipmunk Ally we went and the hunting was great. It was raining and the birds were screaming a welcome to the rain that was really loud. I don't mind at all because it covers up the noise I make when I chase the Chippies. They are fast little critters and I never actually get one.
So, after a long time alone we ran into a girl named Soukie. She is part Chow and was very grumpy. Her hair cut was VERY short like Mimi used to get. No wonder she is grumpy. She is out in public completely naked. I know Mimi is glad they found someone to give her a cut that is not so embarrassing.
So, eventually we saw Liken. Liken's person and my person are definitely Canine Cronies. They love to stand around and chit chat. Liken was telling me that something happened yesterday between her and a little dog at the park and her person had to deal with an unfriendly person. I can't say what happened because I was not there. I can tell you that I see Liken almost everyday and she is one good pal. She and I chase balls together, run around in circles together and just plain old have good old fashion dog fun! She is a good dog with a good person and I am glad she is around! That's all I'm gonna say about that.
We all ran into little Scout and her person. Skye the Bordie Collie came by for a minute too. Mimi, Liken, Scout and I walked out together with a light rain falling and the air cooling down.
There was a person who has 2 Beagles leaving as we were leaving. She also has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Rosie. Rosie was off getting a hair cut so we did not get to see her. the person said she now has another dog named Rio. I guess the little one is only 31/2 months old. I hope we get to meet him soon. OK, I am going to nap indoors today because my person will not allow me to sleep out in the rain. She is still pretty cool though. See you at he dog beach soon.
