Runs With Dogs

Today a very special thing happened! Both of my people and our girl went on the walk. It was a wonderful wonderful thing. I wish Jessie could have come but it really is just too hard. I know she was sad when we left. Anyway, we all headed down Chipmunk ally and ran into a Golden doodle named Pappi. I wonder if Pappi ever met Manny and/or Fenway? Soon the entire Red Sox baseball team will be running around the park. Maybe the Disc Golf folks can name a team "The Red Sox". Did I ever mention the Disc Golf folks? Do you know what Disc Golf is? Well, me either but there is an entire Disc Golf course in the park. People go from station to station and throw "discs" into these contraptions that are metal baskets hung on chains. All I know is that dogs and the Disc Golf folks get along and share space together very well. Once in awhile a dog will run off with a disc but I mean come on. Some dogs play with those discs all the time. Anyway, we saw Ziggy and her person had gotten hurt a little. Hope she feels better. We saw a 3 month old Chocolate Lab named Bruno. I think when he grows up he is going to be a great playmate. Right now he has to learn everything and that is a ton of work. Off to the beach where Reilly and Liken where playing. I got involved in all of that and Mimi would not shut up. Bark, Bark, Bark! I get to play with others Mimi. I have to take a stand sometimes. Off we went and had a good walk. Our girl and I ran ahead of my other 2 people. That was so fun. I love when our girl comes. She loves to run and I run right along with her. We have to stop from time to time to wait for the slow poke people. Mimi came running with us too and that shut her up finally. We met a beautiful old girl that looked a lot like Mimi. Her name is Sadie and she is 13 just like Jessie. Maybe she is Mimi's grandmother. We saw Rocco and Peanut and Rocco was on a leash. His people said that Rocco is having a hard time with recall. Yesterday they got to the park at 1pm and could not find Rocco until 7:45pm. I know the people were upset but I bet Rocco had a blast all over the woods for all that time alone! Lucky boy but as a result he is on lead. There is always a price to pay. We saw Addie on the way out and ran into Reilly and Liken one more time. The sun is supposed to be out tomorrow. I would really like to see the sun!!! Enjoy a lazy Sunday!
