Well, today started out weird again. My person had to take our girl to the people Vet. I tried to tell her to just do what I do when the Vet comes around. I pee on her! I am not sure if our girl got the message or not.
Anyway, the entire park is now green and blue with the river rushing just beautifully by. We started off down the first path. I like to call it Chipmunk Alley. Mimi and I took off into the woods. Now that the bushes and trees are all in bloom it is hard for my person to see us way up in the woods. I can always see her and I keep an eye on her for sure. When we got to the river Mimi and I got to play there for a really long time. It was so much fun running in and out of the water. I really love shaking off my long soaking wet fur. I seem to always stand behind my person when I do this. She gets a really cool line of Merlin mud up her back. I wonder if she even knows its there. (snicker)
After we left the beach we saw Daisy with a girl named Mable. They had found a tennis ball that I got my mouth around and took off. Eventually they ignored me and the ball so I left it somewhere. Ada came by and we all romped around in the lower field for awhile. I was so glad that Daisy and her person turned around and finished the walk with us. Daisy is like a really good buddy to me. As I said we started off late so we missed the usual dogs I get to see. We did not see Amber today. We all wish you well Amber! Hope you are making a come back!
