Well, this here is Pierre and Benji the French Bull dogs I talk about sometimes. I hope you can see the little guys. They are very cool dogs and their person and my person are serious canine cronies. We saw Pearl and Scooter on our way in today. Winnie was home dealing with some arthritis. That is one of the problems my sister Jessie has too. It is a drag getting old. We did the entire loop with Pierre and Benji. It was a little different for me but I also liked it a lot. It seemed like everywhere we went we met little dogs today. One dog was even named Little Dog! She is a Shih Tzu and she does not seem to be psychologically harmed by her name at all. I guess they would have had to have named me "Big Dog with Gorgeous Tail." Maybe that is my Native American name! I think they should throw me a Naming Ceremony and everyone should bring marrow bone offerings. Let me see if I can remember who else we saw today. There was a Pug named Ramona who was at the beach with her person and some of his people friends. One of the people was a people puppy. He was by far the luckiest people puppy ever. He was sitting right down in the mud by the water's edge under a big shade tree. Now, most people keep their puppies away from the mud, ground, water etc. I am finally glad to see one of these little fellers being raised right. He was a little unsure of me because I was so much taller than him so I stayed away mostly. I did get a sniff in and that boy was smelling like all kinds of great stuff! So, we saw Tango and Abby as we started the journey to the car. Tango and I started playing really ruff (get it?) and I was just so happy to see big dogs. The people seemed worried about us bumping into their knees or something. They are way too careful sometimes. Live a little I say. Growl and grab your friends neck in your teeth! There is just nothing like it! So, we saw some other small dogs on the way up Chipmunk Alley but I can not remember their names. Mimi and I spent a bunch of time in the woods together. My person could not see us and I saw her trying to use her hearing to figure where we were. Let's face it, my person is just not a dog and therefore can not hear like me. Anyway, I promised Mimi that what happens in the woods, stays in the woods so I gotta shut my big mouth about that. OK. I am off to dream land after my day with my small dog buddies.
